The Florida project:
This movie is so lovely and so real. The depictions of class in America in the setting of the shadows of Disney World are so brilliant.
The scenery is bright but the characters are living a less than magical existence. It’s not a very plot driven movie, things don’t slowly collapse for these people, but rather crash down all at once which rings true to the precarious conditions in which these characters are living. The performances are understated and spectacular.
